| Bio: | PB: Stuart Townsend Cornelius Fudge was a liar. The records showed that it was a dementor who stole away Barty Crouch Jr's soul, but that wasn't true. A dementor had indeed been brought to the room, and Minerva McGonagal had heard a gut-wrenching scream. Barty had spent the greater part of his adult life in the company of these dark creatures, and everything in him had shuddered at the sight of it. It was no wonder that McGonagal had believed it to swoop down on him. It had felt that way to Barty. In truth the head of Gryffindor had retreated towards the door, had been urged beyond it by Fudge. The man must be questioned. Barty remembered laughter bubbling out of him, and spilling a truth that had angered Fudge. His wand had raised and the dementor drew closer, feeding on the hatred and fear that permeated the air. Barty tried to hold his breath but was unable to hold back his scream as the dementor touched his flesh. It was then that he died. | |||||||||
